We are a Mediterranean beach bar right on the beach at El Palo. Fish, seafood, espetos and rice dishes, cooked the way they have always been on this stretch of coast, from a carefully kept, up-to-date menu.
The boat lit a few metres from your table, bluefin tuna on the menu and paellas in the middle of the table to share, with the Mediterranean in front of you.
Our boat is never left unlit. All year round we cook espetos and chargrilled fish, but when summer arrives it comes even more alive. Sardines, squid, octopus, sea bass and all the flavour of the sea, cooked to order on the beach.
Some meals taste better shared. Seafood, meat or our house specialities. Rice cooked to order, given the time it needs and the flavour every spoonful deserves. By the sea, every paella is enjoyed a little differently.

Some things need little else once they have been over the coals. Our octopus leg comes to the table freshly grilled, lightly charred outside and tender within. One to order for the middle of the table, share, and carry on enjoying the Mediterranean by the sea.

Ronqueo is the traditional way of butchering bluefin tuna: the knife ‘snores’ as it cuts. That is where our name comes from, and why there is a tuna in our logo.
On the menu you will find it as tartare, as tuna belly tataki on the El Ronqueo paella and diced over our Russian salad.
